By Plane - Arrival in Salvador or Ilhéus Airport

From Ilheus:
FromIlheus, it uses the road BA 001 Serra Grande - Itacare (Ext. 60km litoranean) and before Itacare, about 5.0 km, in the clover, turn on left towards Camamu and, more or less at Km 17.0, new clover, turn on right at Br 030 (dirt road in good condition) traveling approximately 50.0 km to Barra Grande.

From Salvador:

Two options:

1 - By the Ferry Boat, whose crossing Salvador - Bom Despacho lasts an hour (the Bay of All Saints). From Bom Despacho to Camamu it`s about 180 km (BA 001). In Camamu there are boats or speedboats whose takes 1:30h or 25 min respectively. If you choose to enter with the vehicle in Barra Grande, use the BA 001, to Itacare, and at Km 34.0 (clover), turn on left to BR 030 (dirt road in good condition), driving up to 50 km to Barra Grande.

2 - Salvador - Santo Antonio de Jesus - Nazare das Farinhas - Valenca - Camamu (about 300 km) and, from Camamu, make the crossing described in item 1 (boats or speedboats).
